Warning

Flight disruptions will likely affect Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) in Boston, Massachusetts, into at least late Oct. 14 due to low ceilings in the area. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a ground delay program for BOS that is slated to remain in effect until at least 20:59 Oct. 14. Flight departures to BOS were delayed by an average of 80 minutes as of 13:00. The FAA may extend, rescind, or otherwise modify the ground delay program on short notice.

The FAA may issue additional ground delay programs and/or ground stops for airports in the Boston area over the coming hours. Residual disruptions are possible even after weather conditions improve as airlines work to clear any passenger backlogs that have materialized.

Confirm flight schedules if booked to fly via BOS. Do not check out of accommodations until onward travel is confirmed. Consider making alternative arrangements for time-sensitive travel if necessary.
