India: Political activists to hold march from Pratap Vihar to Vijay Nagar, Ghaziabad, Nov. 6

Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath plans to hold a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) march from Pratap Vihar to Vijay Nagar in Ghaziabad on Nov. 6 ahead of the Ghaziabad Assembly constituency elections. The current time of the march remains unclear, demonstrations typically occur from late morning to early afternoon. Participation will likely be in the thousands.

Heightened security and localized transport disruptions are likely along the march route and near protest sites. Isolated clashes between police and activists, as well as between opposing parties, are possible. Associated business disruptions are also possible.
