India: Unionized traders plan to protest in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala State, on Nov. 7

Unionized traders part of the Kerala Traders Industry Coordinating Committee plan to protest outside the Government House in Thiruvananthapuram on Nov. 7 to demand the withdrawal of Goods and Services Tax (GST) levied on rent on business premises. Although the exact time of the rally remains unclear, demonstrations typically occur between late morning and early afternoon. Participation will likely be in the low thousands.
