Criminal lawyers represented by the Union of Italian Criminal Chambers will protest at Piazza della Pilotta in Rome starting at 10:00 on Nov. 5. The purpose of the action is to denounce a package of proposed security reforms. It remains unclear how many participants the event may draw; however, a large crowd is unlikely.

Authorities will probably deploy additional police to monitor the gathering. Localized transport and business disruptions could occur near the demonstration venue, but violence is unlikely.
