Moldova: Activists to demonstrate in Chisinau Nov. 28
Opposition activists to protest at Constitutional Court in Chisinau, Moldova, from 10:00 Nov. 28. Heightened security likely.
Activists affiliated with the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova (Partidul Socialistilor din Republica Moldova, PSRM) plan to protest at the Constitutional Court on Strada Alexandru Lapusneanu in Chisinau from 10:00 Nov. 28. The purpose of the demonstration is to denounce alleged irregularities in Moldova's recent presidential elections. It was not immediately clear how many participants may attend.
Law enforcement officers will likely deploy near the Constitutional Court to facilitate the demonstration. The presence of demonstrators or road closures by police will likely cause transport disruptions near the protest site. Confrontations between demonstrators and law enforcement officers or opposed individuals cannot be ruled out.
