Informational

Activists are protesting at the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) headquarters on Calle de Ferraz in Madrid late on Nov. 21. The demonstration is to denounce the government under President Pedro Sanchez. Several hundred participants are reportedly in attendance. Police have blocked Calle de Ferraz near the protest site.

Police will likely continue to block traffic on Calle de Ferraz near the PSOE headquarters into the early hours of Nov. 22. Localized traffic disruptions are likely until the demonstration disperses. Low-level confrontations between demonstrators and law enforcement officers, frustrated motorists, or opposed individuals cannot be ruled out.

Avoid the affected area as a standard precaution. Allow additional time if traveling near the PSOE headquarters. Strictly heed all instructions from law enforcement officers. Immediately depart the area at the first sign that any security disturbance may occur.
