Rail operator National Rail is reporting train disruptions across southern England and Wales on Nov. 27 due to flooding. Storm Conall moved through the area late Nov. 26 and early Nov. 27, dropping up to 4.3 cm (1.7 inches) of rain in some areas and prompting localized flooding. The Thameslink, Gatwick Express, Great Northern, and Southern lines are all reporting disruptions.

Rail disruptions will likely continue across southern England and Wales through at least the evening hours, and may continue through the night as authorities attempt to reposition rolling stock. Floodwaters and related debris may render some bridges, rail networks, or roadways impassable, impacting overland travel in and around affected areas.
