Multiple explosions and a power outage have been reported in Ternopil as of early Nov. 26. Authorities reported that numerous drones were near Ternopil at the time of the explosions, which shortly preceded the power outage. It was not immediately clear whether the apparent attack resulted in casualties.

Authorities will likely deploy near all explosion sites. Officials may implement additional emergency shutdowns of power generation and transmission facilities and other utilities in the Ternopil area. Transport and business disruptions are likely in locations affected by the power outage. Mobile voice and internet service disruptions are possible. The electricity disruptions could also affect ATMs and fueling stations.

Shelter in place or proceed to the nearest bomb shelter until authorities give the all-clear. Stay away from windows and exterior walls if officials report incoming rockets or drones. Charge mobile and communication devices when possible and ensure backup batteries are available. Plan for road travel delays due to possible malfunctioning or nonfunctional traffic lights in affected areas. Follow the instructions of local security personnel, especially when instructed to seek refuge in air-raid shelters. Maintain contact with diplomatic representations. Do not approach suspected unexploded ordnance.
