Flight disruptions will likely affect Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) in Newark, New Jersey, through at least late Nov. 22 due to staffing issues. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a related ground delay program for EWR that is slated to remain in effect through at least 23:59 Nov. 22. Flight departures to EWR were delayed by an average of 84 minutes as of around 16:00. The FAA may extend or rescind the ground delay program or issue additional air traffic control measures for EWR on short notice.
