Increased security and localized disruptions are likely near the US Capitol Building in Washington, DC, through the end of Nov. 5 following a police response to security incident at the facility's visitor center. During the mid-afternoon, officers detained an unidentified man who had entered the visitor center with a torch and a flare gun and who smelled of fuel. There were no casualties related to the incident and authorities have as yet released no further information.
