Abortion rights activists plan to demonstrate in Alexanderplatz, Berlin, and Kronenplatz, Karlsruhe, from 13:00 Dec. 7. Campaign groups including Doctors for Choice will demand changes to the criminal code. It is possible that several hundred to thousands of protestors will attend each event. Officials in Berlin have authorized a counter-protest from 13:00 at Unter den Linden 78, where activists will hold a prayer vigil. Additional demonstrations are possible in centers nationwide.
