Further Air Calédonie (TY) flight disruptions are likely across New Caledonia through early January due to technical issues. On Dec. 20, both of the airline's operational planes broke down, leading to multiple cancellations. Although the airline repaired one plane as of Dec. 22, TY continues to face disruptions, with ongoing cancellations and delays as the second plane remains grounded for repairs. TY primarily operates domestic routes within New Caledonia. The disruptions are affecting Magenta Airport (GEA), Ile des Pins Airport (ILP), Lifou Airport (LIF), Mare Airport (MEE), and Ouvea Airport (UVE).

Residual flight disruptions may persist even after normal services resume as the airline works to clear passenger backlogs.
