Paraguay: Activists to demonstrate in Asuncion from 18:00 Dec. 10

Civic activists from the National Association of Policy Holders from the Social Security Institute (Asociacion Nacional de Asegurados del Instituto de prevision Social, IPS) will demonstrate in downtown Asuncion on Dec. 10. The action commemorates International Human Rights Day and demands improved social security coverage. Participants will rally at Plaza Italia from 18:00 before marching toward Plaza de la Democracia from 19:00.

Increased security and localized transport disruptions are likely near the demonstration and marching route.
