The Boeing 737-800 aircraft, arriving from Bangkok, Thailand, was landing when it veered off the runway and collided with a perimeter fence at around 09:07. Initial reports suggest that a malfunction in the landing gear may have caused the crash. The accident has killed at least 62 people; officials will likely update the casualty toll over the coming hours amid ongoing rescue operations. There were 175 passengers and six crew members on board the aircraft.
