The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) women's wing has called for district-level protests across Karnataka State from Jan. 2. Participants are denouncing the government's alleged inaction in preventing maternal deaths. In Bengaluru, popular gathering locations include Freedom Park, the governor's residence (Raj Bhavan), Mahatma Gandhi Road, Town Hall, and the State Legislative Assembly (Vidhan Soudha).
