Hundreds of farmers from seven districts in Lampung Province are protesting at the Governor's office in Bandar Lampung as of the afternoon of Jan. 13. Participants are demanding the government enforce a promised price increase for cassava. Protesters began gathering at Korpri Field since 11:00 and are demonstrating peacefully, despite removing barricades installed by the police earlier.
