Increased security will likely affect parts of southwestern Charlotte, North Carolina, over the coming hours after a shooting occurred on the Interstate 485 (I-485) Outer exit ramp onto South Tryon Street in the city Jan. 8. The shooting reportedly injured two people. Police have deployed to the scene and did not immediately confirm if they had arrested any suspects in connection with the incident.
