Jim Duck - Watch Operations Manager | Global Intelligence

Jim Duck is a U.S.-based Senior Watch Operations Manager with more than 30 years of experience in the fields of intelligence and foreign languages. He joined Crisis24 in 2010, and holds multiple degrees: a Bachelor’s degree in Soviet Studies from the University of Maryland; Russian-language studies from the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California; Advanced Russian and Cryptologic Tradecraft from the USAF School of Applied Cryptologic Sciences in San Angelo, Texas; among others. Prior to joining Crisis24, Jim served five years in U.S. Air Force intelligence, including two years flying reconnaissance missions out of Okinawa, Japan. After completing military service, he served over 20 years in the U.S. intelligence community in various capacities (master linguist and intel analyst; intel analysis team manager; intel officer; training instructor, etc.), including a number of overseas assignments. In his time off, Jim enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending quality time with friends and family at his cabin in the mountains of West Virginia.
