Tropical Storm Don, which had been located in the southern Caribbean region, dissipates late July 18
Event
Tropical Storm Don, along with its remnants, dissipated late on Tuesday, July 18, approximately 90 km (55 mi) west of Grenada. As such, normal weather conditions are to be anticipated in the region and all storm alerts (issued for Grenada, Barbados, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Bonaire) have been canceled.
Context
Tropical storms are common in the Caribbean region during the Atlantic Hurricane Season, which officially runs from June 1 to November 30.
