France: Rail service to Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport disrupted May 4

Traffic suspended along part of the RER B rail line, which connects Paris with CDG airport, until afternoon of May 4

Event

Due to a technical issue, traffic on the RER B rail line, which connects Roissy-Charles de Gaulle International Airport (CDG) with central Paris, is disrupted as of the morning of Thursday, May 4. No trains are running between Gare du Nord and Cité-Universitaire stations, both located within the Paris city limits. Service is not expected to be restored until at least 14:30 (local time). Substitution buses are currently running between Cité-Universitaire and Porte d'Orléans stations (metro line 4).

Travelers are advised to allow for extra time to reach the airport and to consider taking alternate routes.
