Tocumen International Airport (PTY) in Panama City reportedly suffered a significant power outage at 5:00 (local time) on Monday, September 18. As of 12:00, local officials are still working to restore power to the airport. Significant flight delays are expected and some cancellations have been reported. Copa Airlines reportedly canceled six flights on Monday, including those departing from Washington, D.C., Orlando, Miami, Mexico City, Havana, and Santiago de Chile.
