LAN Express strike in Chile launched April 10 continues; flight disruptions expected through at least April 28

A strike by cabin crew staff at the airline LAN Express, launched on April 10, is set to continue after workers rejected a second offer from the airline on April 20. As a result, the airline has canceled a number of short- and medium-haul flights through at least April 28. The strike has already resulted in more than 1500 cancelations.
