Members of the Association des consommateurs de l'Île Maurice (ACIM) consumer organization are planning to hold a demonstration in Port Louis on Tuesday, June 12, to protest the laying off of workers by the Mauritius Water Authority. According to local sources, demonstrators are expected to rally at 11:30 (local time) at the Champ-de-Mars, before marching to Jardins de la Compagnie.
