High risk of flooding July 24, notably along rivers, in various Colombian departments

The Colombian weather service IDEAM has issued red alerts - the highest warning level - for several areas of the country due to the risk of flooding, notably along rivers. As of Tuesday morning, July 24, the alerts are in effect in parts of the following departments: Casanare, Cesar, Chocó, Cundinamarca, Guainía, Guaviare, and Meta. Lower orange alerts for flooding and/or landslides are in place in various other parts of the country.
