Ethiopia: Nationwide air traffic control strike August 27

Air traffic controllers at Ethiopia's Civil Aviation Authority plan to stage a nationwide strike on Monday, August 27, to demand better working conditions. If the strike goes ahead as planned, severe flight delays and cancelations are to be anticipated at airports across the country, including Addis Ababa Bole International Airport (ADD). International flights to and from Ethiopia may be impacted.
