Panama: Teachers to protests in Panama City October 2

A number of teachers’ unions are calling for educators from around the country to rally in Panama City on Tuesday, October 2. According to union leaders, teachers will gather at the República de Venezuela school at 08:00 (local time) before marching to the National Assembly. The unions are also planning on busing in teachers from around the country to participate in the rally. Heightened security measures and localized traffic disruptions are expected around all protest sites.
