A shooting in Addis Ababa left three federal police officers dead in the morning (local time) of Thursday, October 4. The shooting occurred around 07:00 in the Bole area of the capital, near the Addis Ababa Bole Airport (ADD), and forced the temporary closure of Africa and Airport roads. According to a federal police spokesman, the incident was an insider attack and the shooter was killed in the attack. As of 09:45, traffic has resumed on the affected roads. Airport operations were not affected.
