Sweden: E6 motorway near Malmö closed October 11-27

Event

The E6 motorway in Sweden will be closed from Thursday, October 11, to October 27, due to construction work. This road, used by around 55,000 vehicles per day, leads in and out of the city of Malmö. Associated transportation disruptions are expected, along with increased traffic congestion as commuters take alternative routes. Sweden's Transport Administration has nevertheless advised commuters to avoid travel on the alternative roads and to work from home if possible, due to the anticipated congestion.
