Iraq: Celebrations for Prophet’s birthday in Baghdad Nov. 20

Sunni Muslims will gather to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Mohammed on Tuesday, November 20. Celebrations in Baghdad are expected to concentrate in the Adhamiyah district. Localized traffic disruptions due to road closures and a heightened security presence are expected in the vicinity of the celebrations.

Other gatherings can be expected in cities throughout Iraq.
