Qatar: Heavy rain forecast through November 27

According to weather officials, heavy rain and thunderstorms are forecast across Qatar through Tuesday, November 27. In addition, winds of up to 75 km/h (46 mph) are expected. The Qatar Meteorology Department issued a warning on Saturday, November 24, advising against all maritime activity through November 27. Flooding, power outages, and transportation and government service disruptions are possible in affected areas over the coming days.
