Event

On Wednesday, December 12, the London metropolitan police (MET) announced that 2018 year-to-date homicide statistics were the highest since 2008. According to the MET statistics, there were 130 homicide cases from January 1 to December 12, an increase of 14 compared to 2017 figures and included 73 stabbings and 14 shootings. London city representatives attribute this rise of violent crimes to the reduction of budgetary and human resources of the police.
