Ukraine: Two people killed near court building in Mykolaiv January 30

A gunman shot and killed two people near the Lenin District Court in the Ingulsky neighborhood of Mykolaiv (Mykolaiv oblast) at approximately 15:00 (local time) on Wednesday, January 30. According to police officials, security forces detained the gunman on the scene of the incident. An investigation is underway to determine the motive of the attack. A security perimeter has been established around the site of the shooting. A heightened security presence and associated transportation disruptions are anticipated in the area.
