Suspected Islamic State (IS) militants attacked a bus carrying Iranian nationals on a pilgrimage in the town of Balad (Salah Al-Din province) on Sunday, February 3. According to local sources, at least nine people were wounded in the in the attack. Similar IS attacks are possible in the area over the near term.
