According to an initial statement released by Ethiopian Airlines, one of their Boeing 737 aircraft crashed near Bishoftu (Ethiopia) around 08:44 (local time) on Sunday, March 10. Airline officials believe that 149 passengers and eight crew members were onboard the flight from Addis Ababa to Nairobi (Kenya).
