Portugal: Disruptions amid truck drivers’ strike in several cities April 16

Fuel supplies reportedly reached critically low levels at Faro (FAO) and Lisbon (LIS) airports in the early afternoon (local time) on Tuesday, April 16, amid an ongoing strike by hazardous goods truck drivers. Despite orders from the Portuguese government to return to work immediately, the striking drivers have yet to resume deliveries. Drivers participating in the strike are reportedly demanding better working conditions, among other issues.
