DRC: Demonstration planned in Kinshasa April 25

The Fight for Change (LUCHA) civil society group is slated to hold a sit-in protest in Kinshasa on Thursday, April 25, to denounce the rising cost of telecommunication services. Participants will reportedly rally outside the Vodacom corporate office (Gombe district) from 10:00 (local time). A heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions are to be expected in the vicinity of the demonstration.
