Passengers traveling via Allama Iqbal International Airport (LHE) in Lahore should anticipate heightened security measures over the coming days following a deadly shooting incident on Wednesday, July 3. According to police, two people were fatally shot in the airport's parking area in what authorities described as a personal dispute. Officials later indicated that the suspects had not entered the airport's main security cordon but had passed through security checkpoints leading to the airport. Both suspects were arrested by police. 

A heavy police presence and increased security measures are likely at LHE; these measures may lead to longer processing times at airport security.
