Iraq: Islamic State claims responsibility for September 20 bus bombing in Karbala /update 1

The Islamic State (IS) group claimed responsibility for the bus bombing that occurred outside of Karbala on the night (local time) of Friday, September 20. Security officials stated that an explosive device was planted on the bus; 12 people were killed and several others wounded in the attack. 

Further attacks are possible in Karbala over the coming hours and days.
