Train service to and from Frankfurt International Airport (FRA) will be disrupted from Friday, October 25, through Saturday, December 14.
The rail route between Frankfurt Airport and downtown Frankfurt will be fully closed from Friday, October 25, as of 19:30 (local time) until Saturday, October 26, at 14:30. Replacement buses will operate during this period.
Then from Saturday, October 26, though Saturday, December 14, FRA's regional train station will be closed. During this period, suburban train (S-Bahn) lines S8 and S9 will arrive at and depart from FRA's long-distance train station. Some long-distance train services will be diverted, though will not stop at FRA.
Delays and longer commuter times are to be expected over this period.
