South Korea: Bus workers strike in Goyang November 19

Union workers employed by Myungsung Transportation in Goyang city (Gyeonggi province) went on strike on the morning (local time) of Tuesday, November 19, after wage negotiations with management broke down the previous night. Over 270 buses on 20 lines are currently being affected by the strike, including service between Goyang and Seoul. Gyeonggi provincial officials deployed 20 chartered buses to minimize inconveniences to citizens but an estimated 80,000 commuters are expected to be impacted by the strike.
