Snowfall warnings are in effect for the provinces of New Brunswick, Ontario, and Quebec on Wednesday, February 26, with snowfall of up to 40 cm (15 in) forecast in some areas. Heavy snowfall is expected to continue through Wednesday night before tapering off in the morning (local time) on Thursday, February 27.

Significant flight disruptions have been reported at Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ), with 69 departures and 60 arrivals canceled as of 09:00 on Wednesday morning. Further flight delays and cancelations are expected as weather worsens throughout the day.

Transportation disruptions, including hazardous driving conditions, power outages, and other associated disruptions are to be expected in affected areas over the coming hours.
