No injuries reported after two rockets targeted the International Zone in Baghdad on March 2; heightened security presence expected over the coming hours

Two rockets were launched in the vicinity of the Crossed Swords Monument in the International Zone (Baghdad) at 00:35 (local time) on Monday, March 2. No injuries were reported. While no group has claimed responsibility yet, previous similar rocket attacks have been attributed to shi'a militia groups.
Similar attacks targeting the International Zone are probable in the near term.
