6.0-magnitude earthquake reported near Lampa (Lampa province) on May 2; no immediate reports of damages

The US Geological Survey (USGS) recorded a 6.0-magnitude earthquake 32km (20 miles) west-northwest of Lampa (Lampa province) on Sunday, May 31. According to initial reports, the earthquake occurred at 00:09 (local time) at a depth of 153 km (95 mi). No damages or associated disruptions were immediately reported in the area.
Aftershocks are possible in the affected area over the coming hours and days.
