Protesters gathered in Juba's Shirkat area on Wednesday, June 3, after a nephew of President Salva Kiir, Lual Marine, allegedly shot and killed civilians in the area. Reports suggest that Marine and his bodyguards killed at least four civilians in an incident linked to a land dispute. Authorities have arrested Marine following the incident, however, protesters gathered to criticize the government.
