The worst affected district of the state is Kemaman, where most of the evacuations have taken place. In neighboring Kelantan state, low-lying areas of Rantau Panjan including Kampung Bongor, Kampung Kusar, Kampung Lanchang, and Kampung Terusan have been inundated. In Perak state, 187 people remain in relief centres in Hilir Peral, Kerian, and Manjung. In Melaka state, the situation in flood-affected areas has improved, with numbers of evacuees dropping to 18 from 48.
