India: State electrical department workers plan to launch a strike in Gujarat Jan. 21

Workers of the Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL), a state electrical department, plan to strike Jan. 21 to demand a salary increase. Strike participants may also hold protests, mainly outside central government facilities and public squares.
