Unionized delivery workers pledged to end their nationwide strike and return to work from June 17. The Parcel Delivery Workers' Solidarity Union launched the strike on June 9 to demand shorter working hours and improved benefits. Union leaders agreed to resume work following talks with representatives of multiple delivery companies. A separate work dispute between the state-run Korea Post and some of its employees is ongoing as of late June 16; however, the disagreement has not resulted in any major labor action or associated disruptions.
