Lingering localized transport and business disruptions are possible in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, through at least early Aug. 7 following the conclusion of a mass stabbing attack. An assailant armed with a knife stabbed several individuals inside a commuter train running on the Odakyu Odawara Line in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, late Aug. 6. The attack happened between Seijogakuen-mae Station and Soshigaya-Okura Station. The assailant injured 10 people, though authorities say none of the injuries appear to be life-threatening. Police arrested the suspected attacker several hours after the incident. The motive for the attack was not immediately clear.
