Heavy gunfire and military deployments have been reported in several areas of Conakry, early Sept. 5. Gunfire has occurred in Coleah, Kaloum, and Camayenne. Soldiers have also deployed near the Palais du Peuple. Unconfirmed reports suggest military personnel are stationed at the 8 November Bridge. The cause of the incidents remains unclear. There have been no reported casualties.
