Event

Student activists are planning to demonstrate in the Fatih District of Istanbul on the afternoon of Sept. 27 to denounce high prices and low availability of accommodation in the city. Participants will gather at 14:00 at the Beyazit gate of Istanbul University.

The presence of large numbers of protesters and associated security measures could prompt localized disruptions. Police could also move to disperse the protest if participants become unruly or attempt to breach police cordons.
